Bisi Adegbuyi is an accomplished lawyer and businessman with vast experience in Real Estate and Hospitality, a community Philanthropist, a firm advocate of Public/Private Initiatives in Government.
He was appointed the Postmaster-General (CEO) of the Nigerian Postal on 1st August 2016. Among his numerous achievements include the Digital Addressing System (NIPOST DAS) and Address Verification System (NIPOST AVS), a pragmatic solution to the addressing challenges in the country.
The solutions won the 2018 World Summit in Information System (WSIS) Award in Geneva, Switzerland.
He also championed the extension of financial services to the under-banked and unbanked populace in the rural areas of Nigeria using the NIPOST agency banking, an initiative he had founded on a strategic partnership with Nigerian banks and other financial services providers.
He holds a Bachelor’s LL.B (Hons.) and a Masters’ Degree in Law, specializing in Secured Credit Transition and International Economic Law from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
